2001 Jeep Grand Cherokee Limited is squeaking

I have a 2001 Jeep Grand Cherokee Limited edition V8 with all the bells and whistles that has been squeaking from the front. I have had my brakes, drive shaft, wheel bearings, and ball joints all checked and they are all fine. What could be making it squeak and howl if all those things are fine?

the howl doesn't go away when I turn a corner. The only time it stops even a little is when I'm almost at a complete stop, pressing on the brakes. But the brakes are fine.

I have a 1999 with the same issue. The howl gets louder as you go faster. I have new tires, brakes, tie rods, bearings have been checked; still howls/squeals.

My 2005 Jeep Cherokee Laredo Squeaks when its in DRIVE only, and it wasn't the drive shaft, brakes, belts, shocks, tires, A Mechanic says its the transfer case or the differential, which may need an inspection and oil replaced. Again, when in neutral and you push the JEEP it does NOT squeak, only in DRIVE, and comes from the bottom rear section.

I had a 2001 Grand Cherokee with Quadradrive II and V8. It developed a sqeaking noise coming from the front. I took it to the dealer and he said the front drive shaft needed to be replaced. Not usre what is in the drive shaft but that fixed the problem

2003 Jeep Grand Cherokee Limited V8 4.7. JUNCTION BLOCK flasher relay replacement ?

Question edited for clarity and some sentences.
Question moved to Jeep sub category.

The way to fix that is to go to a local auto-electrician and they will just replace the contacts in the junction box by crimping a new one to the wire, and locking it back into the junction box.

You might even be able to do it yourself by bending the contacts in the socket a little with a thin blade screwdriver.

2008 jeep grand cherokee stalls while driving 4.7 v8

The 2001 Grand Cherokee limited 4.7 does the quarter mile in 15.563 seconds. The 2008 v6 Mustang does the quarter mile in 15.378 seconds. It is possible but unlikely. ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------

2001 Jeep Grand Cherokee Limited v8 4.7 with 155,000 mi. It recvently began burning oil and blowing white smoke.

Check the water to see it there's oil in it ...and...check the oil to see if it has water in it or if it's higher on the dipstick or not.

Sounds like a blown head gasket or cylinder rings.

Remove front Rotors

To remove the front rotors, you first need to support the vehicle with a jack stand. Then remove the wheel.
Once the wheel is out of the way you need to take the two bolts off of the backside of the caliper, then compress the caliper and lift it off of the rotor.
Now you should be able to easily remove the rotor from the Jeep.

Very rough idle on 2002 Jeep Grand Cherokee Limited Edition V8

If you haven't changed the plugs or had the fuel system cleaned, now would be a good time to do it. The number 1 culprit for rough idles is dirty injectors or plugs. You can try an injector cleaner in a can (or bottle) for under $10 and see if it helps, and then work from there. If there isn't any improvement then if you are able to, check the plugs for any gunky buildup and if you find a bad plug, make sure you replace them all (or have them replaced) at the same time.
