Do we need to go to the dealer? Or can we purchase the tool and the codes and do this ourselves? We put new airbags in we just need to do the codes?

Probably wont be able to purchase a tool for airbag system very cheap. Generic scan tools are for engine management systems. Airbag system is separate. Recommend to go to dealer or trusted independant shop.

On my 2001 Chevy cavalier I replace I replace the steering column an ignition and it won't start how can I get it to start please I need the car to run ASAP help me

If you changed the switch you will have to go to the dealer and get the key coded. Ignition keys are coded to the specific computer and the key has to come from the dealer who knows the codes. This is what I had to do on my Camero. If this does not help call your Chevy dealer and ask them if they can code the right key.

Check ecu codes

With an OBDII code reader, a scan tool, a repair shop, the dealer, or your local parts store can also help you with this.

Need to install airbags. direction on how to install front passenger airbags in a 2002 chevy cavalier

Hello! The removal and installation of an Air Bag is a multiple step process that exceeds our ability to send these procedures via a comment...I would suggest that you purchase a repair manual ( I believe AutoZone sells them for $15)...Also, due to safety issues, It would be best using the manual...

2000 chevy cavalier fuse for odometer?

unfortunately it is not the fuse it is the odometer broken internal to the cluster you will need an entirely new instrument panel assemble to remedy the problem, if you purchase one from the wrecking yard and have installed you will be forced to stick with whatever mileage comes on it, if you have a new one installed from the dealer they can program it to match the stored mileage in your origional cluster

My high beem light, airbag, service, abs, check gauges, all lights.my odometer doesnt illuminate . 2000 chevy cavalier. but car runs fine

I would recommend having the fuses checked and the electrical system reset by removing the negative terminal and replacing it.
otherwise it may be the control module or ccomputer that needs to be checked.

I would like more clarification on this.

Thank you

I need help on replacing a radiator on my 2000 chevy cavalier

Disconnect negative battery cable. If you have Delco Loc or Theftlock audio system, turn off feature which reqiers disconnecting the battery. Make sure engine is cool and turn cap slowly to release pressure. Drain cooling system. Disable airbag system by disconnecting the electrical connector from the airbag system's forward discriminating sensor located on the hood latch support bracket. Remove the cooling fan and shroud assembly. Next loosen clamps for upper and lower hoses then Disconect from radiator. Disconect the coolant reservoir inlet and outlet hoses from radiator. You will need a couple drain pans and rags. If your car has an automatic transaxle, Disconect it from the left side tank of the radiator. Use a back-up wrench on each welded nut while loosening the cooler fitting. Be careful not to bend or brake any lines when loosening the fittings. If they are tight spry some WD-40 and wait about 10 mins. Plug the ends of the disconected lines to prevent leakage. Remove right and left head lamp assembiles. Remove hood latch support brakets from radiator crossmember. Remove condenser mounting bolts. Remove the radiator upper mounting bolts located at the upper left and right ends of radiator's side tanks. Now carefully remove radiator. To install just follow directions backwards. I hope this helped.
