When car is warm, taking off from a stop the engine bogs, stalls

Once the engine is warm I have a problem when I put my foot in to take off the engine will bog down and if I don't take my foot off the pedal it will stall. But if I bring it up to speed slowly no problem. Runs fine other wise it is just at take off. 1991 Honday Civic LX 4door

I have had the fuel regulator replaced, the fuel filter replaced and the Catalytic converter checked and it is free of obstruction. Still have the problem. Also when I pull a hill it seem to run better if I keep the RPM's up by down shifting (automatic) but if I leave it in D4 the problem comes back. I can also feel it when I'm driving down the Hyway @ 55 with the cruse control on and it has to pull a hill it will start to sputter.

06ford escapexlt stalls when warmed up at stop

I can tell you a possibility my friend. When first started, the computer puts the system into "cold start mode", kinda like putting on the choke you might say. Once warmed, you normally take the choke, the computer is supposed to take it out of "cold start mode" and stop putting extra fuel into the engine. If the temperature sending unit is faulty, the computer doesn't get this message and keeps dumping the fuel to it causing the stall when you let off the throttle. I'm not saying that is your situation, but that temp sending unit is what I'd be checking. Good day.

if it wont start and car gets 60k tuneup (?)
then connect scan tool and crank for 5 seconds.
see if you get scan DTC errors , cranking (release key) see em?
stalls are caused by over 50 reasons. guessing is impossible or very expensive.
enter: Diagnosis,
you take measurements, and find the failure path then work that path like bird dog.
2.5L 4cyl engine. I just sold min last week. with 5sp M/T
cuts out, does that mean the engine stalls?
we need to know what it really does.
1: stalls (engine rpm drops to 0 RPM)
2: engine rpm drops to 300rpm and shakes.
3: power loss from engine?
4: only stalls at stop signs...?
5: bogs all them time, same as #3
6: engine misfires (shake)
7: bogs only on throttle TIP-IN then recovers.
8: bogs only on hills.

i wait.
when dead, is spark lost?

When the engine is cold, it will stall out as soon as I take my foot off the accelerator pedal. The problems stops once the engine is warmed up.

Try taking it to someome who can plug into your computer and analize the problem. If theres a auto parts store near you they might have the analizer, and usually free . if not take it to a chysler dealer , but they usually charge around $50. also check your egr valve, vacuum lines, spark plugs and wires. good luck. mike

2003 vw jetta wolfsburg bogs on early acceleration

Don't know if it applies to your diesel but most later gas engined vehicles have a 'cold start' valve that supplies additional fuel to the fuel/air mix along with boosting the idle speed until some warming of the engine is sensed.
