I had replaced the ignition switch in my 2008 pacifica, i shut car off and remove keys but when i open the doors the bells will go of as if i left the keys in the ignition,i put the keys back in and turn switch on and off and it will generally solve the problem, but every once in awhile the alarm will go off, is there another part to the ignition that needs replaced?

Try removing the alarm system relay, some car alarm has also a fuse on the alarm that you can remove.
Many car alarms unlock by inserting and turning car key while you connect the battery.

I assume that your car has an automatic transmission - If so, try holding your shift lever higher in the PARK position when you try to remove the key.

Try disconnecting battery and touching the connector to the terminal 7 or 8 times then reconnect, this should reset the e.c.u.and may cure it.
