Just rebuilt it with a rebuild kit and put it back together and still wont shift. could it be the pump?
Let transmission shop do pressure test and diagnostic check.many things will cause transmission not to shift right.could have faulty over drive solenoid.faulty VSS sensor it controls shifts. could have faulty TPS sensor or TCM.the first and second shift valves or solenoids bad your transmission is electronically control many things will cause problems the transmission shop use scanner to check out all shift solenoids.the older transmissions use modulator valve and governor valve control transmission shifts but the newer transmissions shifts control by TCM and ECM.

Hi, your fuel pump is fine, its the sending unit(module). its located inside the fuel tank. its part of the fuel pump assembly and, you will need to replace this device. Its malfunctioning at this time.

Try some Lucas Transmission fix. that stuff has done wonders for almost all of my tranny problems

this is a dealership fix.but FIRST check fuse to AWD.if all is good problem could be in transfer case shift control module or problem could be in speed sensors or shift motor.the dealership has diagnostic equipment to check it out and fix it.

SOURCE: how do I remove the water pump from a 03 buick
If its a 3.4 or 3.1 liter the water pump is right in the front. Remove the serp belt, remove the four bolts that hold the pulley to the pump, remove the five/six bolts that hold the pump to the timing cover housing. remove the pump. Pay close attention to the orientation of the pump. It only goes on one way. Any other way and the bolt holes will not line up.
Clean the mating surface of all the gasket meterial, install the new pump, pulley, serpentine belt. Fill with coolant. Open the bleeder valves on the water pump bypass pipe and/or the t-stat housing if equipped. Close them when steady coolant comes out. Periodically check them to remove any air pocket that may occur while running the engine. Failure to bleed properly will cause the engine to overheat!!!
After is has run for 20 - 30 minutes and the fans have come on and there is no more air burping out of the radiator replace the radiator cap.

I would try changing the filter, I've seen some that should be changed every 20,000 miles. You might want to check for any DTC codes stored for the transmission. Auto Zone will do it for free. If there is a code that might point you in the right direction.
