Turn signals don't work. it just started. Its a 1988 e150 4.9L. everything else works fine head, tail, brake, and hazard lights all work great. Just replaced both buss flasher/ blinker fuses and the bulbs look fine, also cleaned the contacts where the bulbs sit. No clicking, no dash blinker lights.

looking at your schematics and , you say tail lights don't work , you didn't mention if front parking lights and license plate lights are working , they all come from the same source , a black /yellow wire , a good clue if front work and rear don't , please advise .if fronts work then you have a open circuit somewhere between junction S118 (near breakout for left headlamp) and rear sockets.

TURN SIGNALS WILL FEED BACK THROUGH THE TURN SIGNAL SWITCH.THEY ARE INDEPENDENT OUT SIDE ON THE CAR BUT NOT IN THE SIGNAL SWITCH.REPLACE THE SIGNAL SWITCH

Sounds like the flasher unit to me. Normally the emergency flasher and turn signal are separate.

I had this problem, and to be honest, it happened to the left side about a week later...it's the board that the bulbs plug into...it's a very common problem with this model. So popular that you can normally get the socket board off the shelf at a parts store! it's extremely simple to replace, and I replaced all the bulbs at the same time!

Check the tail light failure sensor. Located in the driver's side kick panel fuse box. ~Rick89GTS
