turn on the ignition. if the yellow gets power with the key on, and no power with the key off, it connects to the yellow on the radio. Yellow on the radio is for memory power, to remember your presets and clock.
All aftermarket radios now are all the same when it comes to wiring colors.
black is always common, or ground for all aftermarket radios.
You are loosing power to the keep alive memory circuit of the radio. I think you may have a defective ignition starter switch. Also there are two hot wires to the radio, one powers the radio, one holds memory and is called the Keep Alive Memory constant power wire. Here is the wiring colors, pull the radio and check the memory power supply wire. Radio Constant (keep alive memory) 12V+ Wire: Light Green/Purple wire
black is ground, red is hot, yellow is memory, blue is activation wire for amps or antena ,speakers are green ,gray and white ,and purple negetive and positive wires to each of those colors .
Do these colors match your truck wire colors? Let me know if not or if you have more questions.

Use a 12 volt DC test light, or a DC voltmeter & probe until you find one wire/terminal that has power constantly, whether key is on or off. That's the one to join it to, for your memory. Your radio power wire will go to the other unless you want to be able to have your radio working all the time when you turn it on, regardless of whether key is on,or accessory position, and if that's your preference, join it to same.
