SOURCE: 1995 Lincoln Continental, passenger seat won't tilt back forward

YOU HAVE A SWITCH OR A TILT ACTUATOR MOTOR PROBLEM. LINCOLNS HAVE 5 OR 6 ELECTRIC MOTORS MOUNTED ON THE UNDERSIDE OF EACH FRONT SEAT WHICH REQUIRES REMOVING THE SEAT TO INSPECT .THEIR ARE ALSO CABLES ATTATCHED TO THESE MOTORS SO LISTEN WHEN YOU HIT THE TILT SWITCH DO YOU HEAR A MOTOR NOISE? IF YOU DO THEN YOU MAY HAVE A BAD CABLE.

SOURCE: I've 2000 Mercedes Benz ML 320.One night I backed up & parked in the Garage the next morning it won't go forward. I noticed the that REAR WHEEL on passenger side was locked up. What's

The only suggestion is to place the vehicle on
stands & remove the wheel to check out the issue

To speculate from the internet-- is just that.

To have something happen while you sleep
is odd,so I would be inclined to go with something
like an electronic parking brake issue,if that applies

How do you know if cv axle is going bad

Turning them by hand to feel play

Pulling forward & backwards with the wheels
turned in either direction, to listen for popping
sound, is how you tell inside from outer joint

The entire axle gets replaced if a joint or boot goes

You can tell from noise while driving at different speeds

Only the guys at a trans shop have that kind of diagnostic
experience

Why won't my 96 buick go forward or backwards

Well i would first check trans fluid in park with motor running. If fluid is good in color i mean red or a little dark then i would then check if it rolls in park the reason for that is to see if you had a axle pop out. Now if it holds in park your axle is fine. Next is the possibility of a bad transmission you may have broken the pump. One way to confirm is to disconnect one of the cooler lines and see if there is fluid pressure now this is dangerous and messy so i would recommend a shop to do this.

I'm trying to remove the "hub" from the front axle because the rotor was rusted to it and a new one won't fit "true". I need a picture or exploded diagram to understand why it...

Your hub is a complete unit including wheel flange and bearing. Thje axle passes through the assembly. You will find three twelve point 13mm bolts that go into the rear of the hub through the steering knuckle.
To remove the assembly, Loosen those three bolts, run them out part way and use a socket you don't want (you will destroy it) Put the socket on each bolt and use a heavy hammer to drive the assembly out of the knuckle. Alternate sides so it does not bind. use lots of solvent on the hub parting surface.
One tip: Disconnect the tie rod end so the assembly is easy to turn from side to side.
The hub assembly is only rebuildable in a factory. It is replaced as a unit. While you have it apart, always check the axle universal for binding or play. If you remove the axle for any reason, when putting it back in don't drag it on the bottom of the tube, The seal is inside the tube next to the gear set. Dragging the axle will knock the seal out.

2001 grand voyager rear axle and barke part numbers and diagram

You go to dealers parts counter & have them put
what you want on the display & turn it so you can
point to what you want or write down parts #'s

You really shouldn't need any of that to repair your
vehicle.
An Auto Parts Store can do the same thing & you
can go behind the counter & check out parts
on their computer

The parts store won't use any dealer numbers at all
