If I use the power door lock button to lock all of the doors on my 2000 Buick Regal, the key can't be used to unlock the driver side door. It's like there's a jam with lock and/or a solenoid is preventing the key from unlocking the door. If I try and use the manual unlock mechanism on the inside of the driver's door, it also can't unlock the door. Only the electric unlock will work. This is only true of the driver side door. The front passenger door is fine.
Need to remove the door panel and check the clips that connect to the locking rods possiblr damaged or disconnected
Thanks. I took the door panel off, etc., and the mechanics (rods, clips, etc.) are all good. It started working again too before I took it apart. I think this car has a crazy computer. After heavy rains, many of the window buttons go crazy, and we've even had it lock itself a few times and had the air conditioning come on even though it was off.

This is only a possible solution to your problem. I had similar problem with my car. It turned out that the window locking toggle on the driver door not only prevented the other windows from being opened by passengers but also controlled the door locks. When I unlocked the window control I was able to unlock the door. Another possibility is the armature inside the door has come off the locking mechanism.

Remove the door panel and reconnect the plug going to the front driver door lock or, if you can hear the motor trying to engage the door lock cam when you press the lock/unlock remotereconnect the door lock lever bar

THE PROBLEM SOUNDS LIKE LOOSE WIRING CONECTIONS IN THE DRIVERS DOOR , BEST THING TO DO IS HAVE A LOOK OPEN UP DOOR PANEL AND CHECK ALL CONECTIONS, GOOD LUCK
