Check engine light codes indicates shift selenoid a problem..is this expensive and what could cause it to come on? thanks Alex

The shift solenoid tells your vehicle when to shift. They are not very expensive or hard to fix. They are located under the transmission filter housing

How do you fix a code#P0125 on a 1998 toyota 4 runner?insufficient coolent temp. for closed loop control?

first check radiator level if it is full and the heater is working good make sure temp gauge is functioning c orrectly it is most likely the coolant temp sensor but if this is a high milage vehicle and you have owned long time and never changed i would also replace thermostat and check plug to temp sensor forr good conections and good wires

The turn signal flasher is usually located in the convenience center, under the dash, on the left side kick panel. In all cases, replacement is made by unplugging the old unit and plugging in a new one.

My 2000 4 runner won't shift into park

sounds like a faulty selector cable/rod as park and reverse are next to each otheron selection, it may just require lubricating.
