It could be the other end of the bolt that is the issue. Try this.
- Using a blunt chisel or a short piece of metal bar as a drift Whack the bolt head two or three times. This can shock the threads loose.
- Use a specialist 'Extractor' socket that bites into the head of the bolt to give better grip as you turn it.
- Another method is to use a longer lever to move the bolt. Using a tight fitting socket and using a longer ratchet or a short power bar. Turn the bolt a quarter to half a turn to 'crack' the bolt loose. Then use a ratchet to remove it the rest of way.
You can replace it as long as the one you are replacing is the same set-up. If you have a manual adjusting seat and replace it with a power seat it will fit but you wont have the hook ups for it. Also make sure if it is a bucket seat (single person) you dont replace it with a bench (3 persons fit in front) seat or you will run into problems with the center console and shifter. vice versa may bolt up but there will be a gap between the 2 front seats
slide the seat right forwards and you will see, inside the runners, the bolts to remove, the runners, with the seat...after the rears slide the seat right back to see the front bolts.replacement is a reversal of removal......
Jack the van up, remove the tire. Then you will see the caliper. There will be 2 bolts that hold it on to the rotor. Remove the bolts and pry it off with a screw driver or what ever works. Then disconnect the break line from the caliper. After you get the new one use a c-clamp to press the piston down into the caliper and install the brake pads. Bolt the caliper back into place and install the line. Loosen up the bleed valve on the caliper 1/2 turn and have someone pump the breaks until no air bubbles come out. Once you have a smooth stream of brake fluid coming out the valve have that person pump once more and hold the pedal all the way to the floor. Then tighten the valve.
Just did my 2002 Grand Caravan today,
The filter will come with 3-hoses attached.
Use Safety Goggles to protect eyes from gasoline splash!
1. Disconnect Negative Side of Battery.
2. Depressurize the fuel system.
3. Jack up rear of vehicle. Use Jack Stands to support the vehicle.
4. Chock the front wheels
5. Use Jack with wood and raise up to the fuel tank (just to meet/touch) on the right side (midway portion) of the fuel tank.
6. Loosen and Remove 15mm bolt on middle-right side fuel tank strap-to-body.
7. Loosen and Remove 15mm bolt on rear-right side fuel tank strap-to-body.
8. Loosen and Remove the front 13mm bolt on the front fuel tank strap-to-body.
9. Slightly lower the jack - the right of the tank should begin to drop down 3-4 inches. NOT TOO MUCH: there is wiring connections you may damage!
10: Disconnect the body to fuel tank strap ground from the body.
11. On electrical connections:
a. Slide: Push/Pull back red connector lock.
b. Push on top of release.
c. Pull off the connector.
12. There are three fuel connections/hoses.
a. One on right side - towards the front.
b Two on the top of the tank on the pump. Note how far these are down on the white tubing connections.
13. The fuel connectors are quick connect type. At the top of the connectors are colored protruding tabs. Squeeze those tabs together and pull hose away.
14. If the colored locks remain on the tubes (not the filter hoses) bend the wings away from the tube and this will free them from the tubes.
154 The Filter is connected with a 10mm bolt. Unbolt and remove filter and hoses
When replacing: make sure you fully seat the hose connections. You should hear a click, and observe their position compared to earlier.
Before putting everything back together, reconnect the electrical switch and negative side of battery. Start van and check for leaks.

If I recall correctly the belt actually is mounted behind the interior trim panel. It 1 piece on a short wheel base & 2 piece on a long. You must remove both seats (2nd & 3rd row) to hah room to remove the trim panel . BE CAREFUL the get very brittle and snap if you pull the wrong way
What is the problem? Clearance with tools?
