What makes the oil pressure guage go down to 0 when I stop

Check the oil level first . Check when engine is cool and should be between cross hatched area on dip stick . How many miles and wear on engine can cause low pressure as well as a bad or clogged oil sender unit .

My problem is when driving, the engine rattles bad especially when accelerating, I had noticed my oil level looked empty

Most engines take at least 5 quarts of oil. Have you check the dip stick to see how much is in there?

What causes Low Oil Pressure Light ?

Low oil pressure light is usually a bad oil sending unit. Make sure the oil level is full on the oil dip stick. Don't drive it low on oil because the problems could be severe...blown motor!

I have a 1984 ford f150, I starts a runs until I come to a stop then It just shuts off...Whats wrong? I also have low oil pressure, and my dip stick for my oil looks kinda milky.

The problem you have is a cracked block. This allows water to get into your oil, and that causes the milky appearance. As you might imagine, this is not a good thing. You can try the block seal, but, there are no guarantees. Good luck. Oh, and by the way, it has nothing to do with the dip stick, just the water and oil failing to mix.

Oil press. stop motor is written on the dash. I'm due for a oil change...is it dangerous to drive my car with this notice?

yes, you are in danger of ruining your motor.. check your oil by pulling out the dipstick, wiping the oil of the end of the dipstick and replace it fully down again into the dipstick tube. Pull it out again and check the level of the oil. If it is low, add oil before driving. If it does not show on the dipstick, add 1 quart at time and check the level each time before adding more, until it is to the correct level marked in the dipstick

1995 gmc jimmy... heavy clunking and low kpa oil pressure

Your oil pump is bad or you have a restriction in the oil system. The noises are you bearings in the engine starving for oil. If you drive this vehicle before repair you will need a new engine or rebuild that one. I don't know how much damage is done and the bottom end may already be beyond a simple repair. Worst case you will need to have the engine rebuilt.

Motor Issue

If the car will not start back up (won't crank or turn over) you are in big trouble. Because that means the engine is seized up and will require either a new engine or a re-manufactured unit. Did the oil pressure light (or any light for that matter) illuminate on the dash. If no turn the key to ignition not run, and see if the oil light illuminates, it should, if it dosen't either the bulb is blown, the sending unit is bad or the wiring is open. My guess is all the oil shot out of the dipstick, ran low on oil and the engine seized up. I'm sure this isn't the answer you were looking for but good luck. Sorry about your misfortune.

Gas smell in oil

The white strip of fluid on the oil is a slight amount of coolant getting into the oil . The water could be from condensation on the dip stick. I would drain the oil and just put regular recommended oil in it with a new filter. I would pull the spark plugs and check for any coolant or oil residue on them. Then drive the vehicle a little and check the performance. If there is unusual noise from the engine then or blue smoke from the tailpipe the engine has internal damage.

Assuming the engine performance stays the same. There could be a fuel injector sticking intermitantly.
