ABS light is on and the cruise control doesn't work in our car. ODBI codes returned are 61 and 43. 61 refers to the vent solenoid circuit. I'd like to try replacing the vent solenoid to see if this fixes it but I can't locate it. Does anyone knows where this component would be located on this vehicle or does anyone know if this is even the problem? Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance.

hi..the transaxle converter clutch . tcc. uses a solenoid -operated valve located in the automatic transaxle to mechanically couple the engine flywheel to the output shaft of the transmission through the torque converter.that reduces the slippage loss in the converter.reducing emissions.but check the vss first.which is called the vehicle speed sensor.they both work together .if the vss is not working right it wont call on the tcc.
check this out..
thank u..

It's an exhaust valve inside the transmission, when the solenoid isn't working right, the pressurized fluid can't exhaust through the passages, which can cause rough shifting. It has to be taken to a transmission shop, the transmission pan has to be dropped and possibly the valve body to get at the solenoid. Hope this helped.

It maybe the control unit or just one of the wheel sensors.
