i would change out the distributor cap ,rotor button wires and spark plugs

Check the fuel pump, Check the fuel filter first though. Get under the car when it wont start hit the gass tank with a hammer while some one else trys to start it that will tell you if it's the fuel pump.

A few things actually lol. How long since its last tune up? A dirty air filter, worn spark plugs and wires and cap and rotor can cause a poor idle and stalling. Not to mention a dirty fuel filter. The fuel filter is in the gas tank unfortunatlly :(
Try giving it a basic tune up " about 45 dollars" and see if that helps. Good luck.

if the truck feels like,
the more gas you give it the slower it goes,
you might want to check for a converter plugging up.

souns like the fuel pump is going bad

if it is not running,and wont start,pull the idle air control and look at it,,is it stuck all the way out? if so this is ur problem

Try WD-40 in air intake of throttle body, with plate slightly open, then try to start. If it fires up & runs for a second or two, you have a fuel delivery problem.

Have you checked the codes?
Mine was a faulty coil.... Twice. I made a heat shield for the second one.
