What is the fireing order for a 3.2 v6 cylinder1991 legend am changeing out some lifters an cams i need to no the fireing order before i start

the firing order on ours is per above, im not sure how many 3.2v6 are made world wide, with different crank /cams.
seems there are 3 if you read the wiki......

there is a gm v6 LG6 is 3.1L and isuzu v6 (x2) 3.2L
the real Isuzu is called 6VD1 engine
later years GM 4.3L
my guess is 6VD1 or W

and 6VD1W. twin cam. introduced in 1996 on troopers.

before i work on and engine i learn what is there first.
as you can see wide variances there are.
post country first. then if single or twin cams.

but the firing order is dictated by cam and crank geometries.

gee guy, 3.1L or 3.2L?
you only need 3 things to time the distrib. static.
where is #1, its the most forward cylinder, LOOK carefully.
forward means closest to the cam drive end of engine.
not flywheel end.
rotor rotation direction (crank and watch it)
now the order, 3.2l v6? IS It? the single cam?

our 3.2 has no distrib V6 its DIS.

Trying to set the intake and exhaust valves on a 2001 dodge dakota v6 what does the gap need to be and i also need to know the firing order

Your engine uses hydraulic lifters and the clearance is not adjustable. Just make sure to tighen the rockers to 21 Ft/Lbs.

Firing order is 1-6-5-4-3-2..Cylinders 1-3-5 are on the DRIVERS side Front to back and 2-4-6 are on the PASSENGER side Front to back.

I have a 1981 ford with a 302 the cap has the firing order listed as 15786342 the dist has no elecs in it the pick ups on the crank it wont run right wired like this then when i switched it to 15426378 it...

Firing Order, Small Block & SVO
This is one of the most common questions asked by our Ford customers. The firing order for the early 221-302 engines and the early 5.0 engines is 1-5-4-2-6-3-7-8. This is the firing order for all prefix “31” cams and is the standard replacement cam for all early engines. The later 5.0 engine and all 351 engines are designed to use the 1-3-7-2-6-5-4-8 firing order. This is the firing order for all prefix “35” cams, and cams ordered for these engines should use this prefix. Other than the firing order, the cams are identical. By changing the spark plug wiring at the distributor these cams can be interchanged.
