From what I gather from this video, it is a combined module ECM/TCM sharing the same box ECM on left and TCM on the right. There is a diagram showing it as well.

The scan tool accesses the following module data lines:

The electronic brake control module (EBCM) (UART)

The engine control module (ECM) (Keyword 2000)

The transmission control module (TCM) (UART)

The inflatable restraint sensing and diagnostic module (SDM) (UART)

The immobilizer control module (UART)

The anti-theft module (UART)

From the diagram I found you need to look under the hood on the drivers side near the front of the wheel well. I will attach the link of the diagram for you also. You want to look at the 23rd diagram from the top and click enlarge it gives a good view so you should be able to find it easily (look for item number six on the diagram). run fault codes and look for a TCM fault.

There is a relearn procedure for the transmission but you need a Tech 2 diagnostic with the appropriate software.It only for automatic transmissions. The clutch data is learned which translate adaptive data cells. Which the TCM uses for clutch controls during shifting. This is for the fast learn procedure.There is another method that I will find later

I’m looking for the pcv valve on a 2009 Chevy Aveo!!! It’s getting me sooo anxious it’s sucking in air from the oil cap!!!

To open the fuel filler door, pull up on the release lever with a gas pump symbol on it. It is located on the floor on the left side of the driver's seat.
