Check your coolant sensor! I have a 93 300e that had similar symptoms. MAF, O2 sensor, wiring harness, and a long list of other things were replaced with no improvement. My experience has been the coolant sensor or coils are to blame! Ohms check the coils as well as the coolant sensor. If low or 0, replace!

    First make sure you didn't put anything but OEM plugs in when you changed them. In my experience, Mercedes don't respond well to "split-fire" , "triple platinum" type plugs. Rough idle is one of the symptoms! If no improvement, test the MAF and clean throttle body. Replace MAF if questionable. Email me if you need an easy way to test the MAF. O2 next then coolant sensor. You'd be amazed what a bad coolant sensor will do to these incredible machines! Hope you figure it out! Take care.
