2007 GM radio says "locked" ? Help

GM Theft Lock Radio Unlocking If you are unaware a Saturn is a GM product .

Go to a stereo shop and have them put a new one in.

nothing on dash is blown fuse,
nothing means to me the CEL/SES lamp is out and if out key on
that means the PCM is dead but it started so is not dead.
the lamps all glow key on (cluster) to tell you the self tests all pass.

and radio
fuses. first. for ever and ever . fuses first.
check the fuses.
test them , some that look good are in fact bad.

If the electrical contacts that go to the rear door lock are corroded the lock/unlock switch will not work. Spray WD-40 (with the spray wand) from inside the truck into the space between the truck and door on the passenger side. A few squirts near the top and upper side will give enough electrical conductivity to energize the lock.

GM radios must be programmed to match the Vehicle identification number installed at the factory. Any GM dealer can reprogram this to work. Should cost half an hour labor. Get the price quote prior to service. I have done plenty.

The 2009 Saturn Aura added the bluetooth (phone) feature and many other GM models with similar looking radios had it in past model years. The 2007 did not come with bluetooth (or Human Machine Interface).
There are two possibilities: the radio has been changed from another vehicle and is incompatible with your car or locked or your OnStar is malfunctioning. Either situation will require a trip to your friendly Saturn dealership (or Saturn Service Center) to repair.

IF when you purchased your car you didn't set your own personal code you will have to take this to your local GM dealer and they can pull the code that is set at the factory and unlock your radio.THe proceedure for setting your own code then unlocking radio is in your owners manual.The dealership I worked for did this for free.

I have a 6 disc AM/FM RDS Radio from a 2003 Chev Suburban that I purchased used and installed it into my 2003 Chev.Silverado and it went into lock up after I Installed it.How do I unlock it

I recall having seen this problem posted by another and I think you are stuck going to the dealer (with proof that you didn't rip it out of someone else's dashboard) to get it unlocked. This is one of those things done to ding accessory thieves that often bites original owners after battery changes/failures.
