Firing order high tension wire - 2007 Chevrolet Optra 1.6

terminology- bogie cord?? Is that harness or coil high tension wire

recheck firing order and wire attachment . sounds like you broke a high tension lead when you pulled the boots off the plugs

You have problem with you timing or did you ever label all the high tension wire before you unplug it. it might be re arrange the firing sequence. 1342 firing order. And the timing position of the distributor were at original place.

first, buy the high tension wires (htw) recommended by your manufacturer.

replace it one at a time so as not to change the firing order of your engine.

remove 1 end of the wire from the spark plug and the other end from the distributor cap. then replace it with the new one. do this until you replace all the htw.

htw normally comes in different lengths. purpose is that some plugs are farther from the distributor compared to the other plugs. so try to order the length first before removing anything.

when it pops out the carb it indicates a possible problem with the timing might be off a little(mechanical or vacume),or the engine is not getting enough fuel supply and runs lean under acceleration.

check the firing order..and may you have a defective sparkplugs and high tension wires or air leak

• changes low-voltage pulses from the PCM to high-voltage pulses.
• fires 2 spark plugs simultaneously.
• has 3 transformers.
  • One transformer fires the spark plugs for cylinders 1 and 5
  • One transformer fires the spark plugs for cylinders 2 and 6
  • One transformer fires the spark plugs for cylinders 3 and 4

Spark plug wires:

• carry high-voltage pulses from the ignition coil to the spark plugs.

The spark plugs:

• change high-voltage pulses to spark at the gap, which ignites the fuel and air mixture.

The firing order is 1-4-2-5-3-6.

usually you can find the firing order numbers on the engine block near the spark plugs and on the side of the distributor cap match the numbers and connect the corresponding high tension leads, hope that helped

Inspect if the ends of the high tension wires are actually giving of sparks which should power the plugs. If they are not firing, it could be a problem with the high tension wire or the ignition system. Try to swap the wire with a known working one to isolate the problem.
