GM uses vaccum to operate the blend doors on their heating and air conditioning systems. There is either a cracked hard plastic line or a cracked, unplugged vaccum line somewhere. If you have done any work to the vehicle latelt I would start by looking there first.

My heat kicks on, I can hear it and feel heat when placing hand on vents. However,Nothing blows out.

Blower is not running ? Or is ?if the blower fans not working check fuses or replace motor , if your heat cycles and your blower blows cool air , its likely a heater core issue

FORD ESCAPE 2001 CONTINUES TO HEAT

Have you checked the thermo fans are cutting in and out. It may be the switch at the botom of the radiator or someone may have left the wire to the fan disconected probably when replaceing the radiator. or the A/C condensor might be blocked with grass stopping the air flow.

Hi its ounds like the fan has failed, the fan blows the heat into the vents without it, it will just remain in the heater core. other possibility and very common also is the cabin heater regulator they ofetn go, located in the middle of the car looking into the engine compartment has 2 pipes one in one out, feel the pipes see which is hot etc and get back to me.

I get a squeaking noise when i turn the steering wheel right or left. replaced struts, and stablizer link rod on 2001 ford escape

I have a 2002 Escape V6. I had a squeak when turning... even when standing still. It was fairly low mileage: 40,000 miles?
It was the outer tie rod. You could feel it squeak in your hand while someone else turned the steering wheel.
I disconnected the tie rod. I wasn't worn, just squeaky. I squirted a little WD40 inside the boot, and worked it in. Reassembled and squeak gone.
I bought a replacement tie rod, but never had to put it on. I'm now at 110,000 miles.
