    awd is working but the light fault is on. what is the problem?

    all wheel drive is not working , and disabled light for all wheel drive flashes on and off ..

There could be alot of problems if the AWD lights comes it could either
transmission oil is old or the oil filter is dirty ,these interact with onboard
computer and produces false signal which causes the car to be AWD mode
or this could be the problem with selector switch ,first try to replace the oil and check if its AWD light goes......

The sensor flow valve in the rear diffential is bad. I just had mine changed at $800 for the whole job ! It fixed the problem.

this is a dealership fix.but FIRST check fuse to AWD.if all is good problem could be in transfer case shift control module or problem could be in speed sensors or shift motor.the dealership has diagnostic equipment to check it out and fix it.

My anti-lock brakes keep kicking on when i was driving last night then the light turned on and the awd disable light when on.
are awd light came on a few day ago...no change in the driving behavior. just had two wheel bearings replace last year. any idea what the awd disable light means now?
