Remove the bottom drain plug and allow the oil to drain out. replace the plug tight
on the side of the box about 1/2 way up and a bit to the front ( mostly on the lhs of the box there will be another plug
remove and put the oil in there ( use a oil syringe of squeezable plastic bottle with a plastic tube attached) add oil until it starts to run out of the hole.
allow excess to drain out then refit the plug tight

There are two drain plugs on the bottom of the pan. remove the lower one to drain the trans fluid. To refill, use a pump and pump the fluid into the upper drain plug until it seeps out and re-install the plug, similar to refilling a manual trans.
Once this is done, Start the vehicle and run it for about 3 minutes, shifting through all gears (do not drive vehicle Remove the upper drain plug and let any excess fluid drain out. Done. This is as per Mitchell OnDemand.

SOURCE: Toyota Hiace 99 Fuel filter change

Look first right rear back under fuel tank,< If not, follow fuel lines from fuel tank one main line, one return line, traveling parallel to frame all the way to the motor compartment on front, can be front under right passenger side, first by the filter at the auto parts, that way you will know what to look for

SOURCE: When do I change the transmission fluid in my 2003 Highlander?

If the fluid smells burnt or is black, replace fluid. Manufacturer suggests that you inspect it at every 30,000 mile interval. I would suggest having it flushed every 75,000 miles as a normal maintenence.

SOURCE: Frequency to changing transmission fluid on 2003 Corolla

I'm not sure about Toyota's specific recommendation but when I ran my service station, we changed trans fluid at the 50,000 to 60,000 mile range. This covered most manufacturer's requirements at the time. Hope this helps.

My Toyota HiAce Panel Van , 2.5 diesel, auto, had some problems last month. The cooler in the radiator broke and sent coolant into the transmission, mechanic said we caught it early according.

I would get the transmission checked by a transmission specialist. I would say that there was still water in it. The other thing I would do is to put an external transmission cooler on the car. The Ford I have was notorious for water getting into the transmission if the radiator failed. Nearly everyone now has an external cooler. Ford fixed this on the next model.
