Could be a couple different things could be bad starter bad starter solenoid bad neutral safety swich does it make a clicking sound at all when you try to start?

Power from battery is the Red wire, both are to battery one usually to Bat 2 and the other to Bat 3 on connector

Tan/white is ground
Dk Blue/White is ground for cluster without gauges
Orange goes to ignition 3
Yellow goes to solenoid
pink ignition 1
Brown is accessory

FIRING ORDERS NOTE: To avoid confusion, remove and tag the spark plug wires one at a time, for replacement. If a distributor is not keyed for installation with only one orientation, it could have been removed previously and rewired. are u sure about Yellow ??? i'm pretty sure Yellow is on '90 - '94 models.

Anyways, for those models it goes

1. Alter to Diode
2. Diode to Ignition Coil
3. Ignition Coil to Fuse # 16 in Fuse & Relay Box ( which is a 15A )

nothing special about it sometime it takes forever you could have somone pump the peddle 5 or 6 times and hold it while you open the bleeder screw that may help to force some of the air out

Thick wires at IGN SW .... Red(s) - supply power from the battery to the IGN switch ... Pink - ignition supply ... Orange - Accessory power ... Purple most RWD sometimes (Yellow most FWD) - Starter .. Did I miss any? It's been a while The thin wires on the IGN swich are for key sense and VATS (if applicable)

maybe these peoples can help you with this they only sell GM parts and maybe they can e-mail you or fax you something the number is 1-800-292-1032 and by the way the name is schram auto and truck parts .

test light on neg with key on power at both sides of coil ???? next test light on bat plus put to coil neg and have somone turn car over if test light flashes and still no spark coil is bad if test light no flash ignighter is most likely bad the ignighter switches ground on your coil for spark
