If the problem is fluctuation or not reading at all you will probably need a new fuel meter sensor that goes in the tank. this part is available from your local G.M. dealer. Fuel sensor kit. This is not a diy job unless you have the equip. and know how.
Your Fuel sender unit is defective , Bad news is it's in the Fuel tank and it's also part of the fuel pump module assembly which may cost a lot of $$ to fix.
No, there is not a fuse for this. Unfortunately, you have a bad sending unit. In order to replace the sending unit you have to drop the gas tank. Sooo............drive it more to get rid of all of that gas and it will be easier to put back up.
