I have a slim jim but its not working
Be carefull using the slim jim there are lots of wires and a very expensive door module in there you dont want to break. save time and money and call dealer in a.m and get door key cut or call a lock smith.

Instead of pulling a fuse which will definately trip off another time, why not take it for reprogramming?
I recommend you get an expert in security locks to reprogramme the locks for your car.

Your key can only be programed at the dealer. They have to use a scan tool and a unique id code that they get from the factory. It is done this way to help insure that the vehicle is less likely to be stolden.

Open up the door panel and put the control rod back on. that often happens when getting in that way...still cheaper than a locksmith or a window!! (clip is probably in the bottom of the door)

I am having this same issue with my 2008 Dodge Grand Caravan , I had it towed to the local Dodge Dealership. They just told me that it is the Wireless Control Module and it is going to cost $461.00 to replace it.
