Car staarts when it's cold, but wont when it is hot
SOURCE: 1995 honda civic, while driving engine gets hot & cold?
I used to have this problem too on my 95 Honda Civic EX. It would get hot then it would cool down when I stopped. I replaced the thermostat and it took care of the problem. I am not a mechanic but it was real easy to change out. I bought it at Auto Zone and they even gave instructions on how to replace it. Also don't forget to buy the new seal for it. Hope this helps.

Is it acting like its out of gas. Also is it turning over but not starting. are u getting spark from ur spark plugs. When it was tuned up did the shopmess up the firing order of the distributor especially its a newer car. it could be teh fuel pump, filter etc. if its one of those its usually back by the tank. Also to see if ur getting spark u can pull a spark plug out plug it into one of the wires and set the spark plug on part of the engine and have someone turn it over u will see spark out of the end of it if u dont then thats ur problem. also it may be a relay. Overall u will want a manual so it can be pinpointed better also run some codes on it if u know how to.
Testimonial: "thanks for ur comment...its got a full tank..it seems every time i fill it it gives me problems..i will check to see if it has sparks and check relay."

If your car starts after you charge the battery overnight or with a jump start then the most likely problem is that your alternator is not charging the battery when the car is running. If you take it to an auto parts stores many of them will test your alternator (for free) to verify that is the problem.
If that isn't what is causing your problem you need to look for a short that is draining your battery and you would need a clamp on ampmeter to find that.

Hi,
Axle or shift link problem.
Looks like the shifting link broke loose and it stayed on one gear. Check the linkage and replace parts that needed to reconnect it.
If the shift link is okay, the problem would be both the constant velocity that rotates the wheel in the axle assembly is broken.
Hope that helps you out!
