I had the SAME thing with my car!! Remove your air bag module its a grayish looking box that deploys your air bags, my air bag light was on but it was on and off. I pumped gas in my car one night and when i went to crank it my car cut right off after a split second. My mechanic took time on it but discover that it was a secrity issue. He removed the air bag module and presto it fired right up. I thought it was a fuel filter or fuel pump. It was just the air bag module, people freaked out about it once i told them what it was....it should be under the passenger seat, i believe u may have to take out the seat to get to it.

I have a 2006 Saab 97x 4.2i, check engine light is on the the codes that came up are p0014, and p1400. Can anyone tell me the problems

Please follow the link for info you requested on P0014
http://www.autocodes.com/p0014_saab.html

P1400 Saab
When you check engine light came on code P1400 the reason should be Engine Light ON (or Service Engine Soon Warning Light). However Saab manufacturer may have a different definition for the P1400 OBD-II Diagnostic Powertrain (P) Trouble Code. So you should chech it on our car models.
Saab P1400 Possible Solution : The crankshaft sensor signals the fuel injection computer or the ignition control when the cylinders are firing. This causes the ignition coil to provide a spark and the injector to inject fuel into each cylinder at the right time.If either sensor isn't working correctly, the car will run rough and the engine will be less efficient. In later car models, the car's computer can usually keep the vehicle running, but the engine warning light on the dashboard goes on to warn the driver.

Getting my car started

If the vehicle is getting fuel and spark and has decent compression it should start. You may have an issue with the injectors not working causing a no fuel supply to the engine. Does the check engine light come on during a bulb check? The injectors are normally fused and are usually under the fuse marked ECM or Ecm A or ECM B. It is also possible the vehicle may be flooded for some reason or another. You can try holding your foot to the floor ( this will shut off injectors) while cranking the engine to clear out a flooding situation

Cylinder misfiring p0302

code p0302 refers to cylinder 2 --misfire detected ===causes--engine mechanical fault--wiring---ignition/ fuel system---injector--ECT/MAF sensor--ECM
move no 2 injector to another cylinder and see if the miss moves . If so replace the injector . IF not check the wiring to no2 injector. Check the HT lead to no plug and replace it the connections are loose.

Is there an erg valve on a honda accord 2008 4 cyl

code p0300 refers to--random/multiple cylinder/s misfire detected...Causes---spark plugs---HT leads---injectors---ignition coils ---low compression ---wiring
code p0302 refers to cylinder 2 misfire detected Causes ---engine mechanical fault---wiring---ignition/fuel system ---ECT/MAF sensors ECM
code po303 refers to cylinder 3 misfire detected Causes Engine mechanical fault---wiring---ignition/ fuel system ---injector---ECT/MAF sensor ECM The common fault to all is the fuel/system ignition
I would have the injectors checked and have a pressure test done on the fuel manifold to check pump and fuel regulator valve.

87 chevy four cylinder fuel injector wont spray

With the key on do the fuel injectors have one wire that shows (+) battery voltage of 12+ volts? If not check for a shorted engine wiring harness, also check all fuses marked "ECM" there should be two fo them. ECM 1 and ECM 2.

I have a 2004 Jeep GC 6cyl 4WD. My check engine light is on, scanned and got P0203, P0300, P303. Changed the spark plugs, fuel injector #3. Started it up and ran rough, I left it in the garage all night...

codem p 0203 refers to injector 3---circuit malfunction===causes wiring--injector--ECM
chweck for harness connection , bad wire for no 3 injector or corroded pins for no 3 injector in the connection

Checking the fault codes

Yes.  Next to the ash tray there is a black slide off plate that reveals the OBD I plug.  {1996 and newer can be read with an OBD II reader (read for free at Advance auto or Auto Zone)}  Once you reveal this plug on the 1995, you can plug in a single jumper wire (or even a paper clip) in the #4 and #15 pin hole.  There are two rows of pin holes, count from the upper right to the #4, then on to #15 (which will be the second to last pin hole).  Turn the ignition switch on (motor not running), insert the jumper wire for about 3 to 5 seconds, then remove the wire.  The ENGINE LIGHT will flash a hold, then the code, which will go something like this, flash, flash, PAUSE, flash, flash, PAUSE, flash, PAUSE, flash, flash, flash, flash.  Then it will repeat the codes if you just sit there and observe it.  The code in my example would be a 2214 code.
Below are some code I found on a website.  I hope this helps.  Now I ask that you take the time to answer someone elses question.  Lets all share.  Good luck, "Peace through power and knowledge"
