What is the bolt pattern on a 1989 Chevrolet Camaro RS V8?

Check for bad wirs and alternator might be go bad.

if it starts when cold, but will not start hot, then it is a bad fuel injection system. if it is unpredictably intermittant, with no particular pattern, it may be corrosion on the battery cables/terminals (in need of cleaning), or your starter is beginning to fail.

no they gave you wrong bolt pattern . dont matter 13,14,15,16 long as bolt pattern rigth . measure bolt pattern .on 5 lug measure from one stud to the one across from it . maybe 5 inch or 5 1/4 bolt pattern. trucks wheels are differnt than car pattern.

Remove neg battery cable. Then lift car up. Mark with tape or marker the wires connecting to starter/ solenoid. Then remove the two cables.
Then remove two bolts from starter and drop down or pull up by exhaust manifold if you cannot drop down through bottom.

I believe the bolt pattern is the same that transmission should bolt up to your v-8 assuming it's a small block, the transmission should work fine, you may need to modify the shifter but everything else should be compatible, if your v-8 is carberated make sure you have the correct throttle link set up because correct tv cable adjustment is critical, the v-6 transmission may have a lighter stack up in the 3-4 drum so dont be to hard on it while in 3rd or 4th.

Check the Bolt Pattern. Some of the Newer Camaros Had 6 Lug Wheels. Your has 5.

They both should be the small chevy bolt pattern. Take a tape measure and measure across the lug nuts at a diagonal center to center on both. If they're the same, it will work.
