It sounds like you have a security system that has had the sound disconnected. now if this is the case you need to find out if it is a factory or aftermarket. usually if it is a aftermarket system the box for it should be on the driver side under the dash. now don't go just cutting wires these systems tap into some of the major wire harness. get info off the box and contact the manufacturer for a wire schematic. this will allow you to cut and splice the correct wires. good luck

Running fine, turned it off and now won't start at all, even with a jump. It's a 2011 F150.

Usually this is a sign of a completely dead battery. Not low, just Dead.

Jeep liberty electrical

The battery is run down too low. When the light came on, alternator stopped working- the vehicle ran off the battery, until the lights and other electricals ran the battery down too low.
Recharge the battery, and have the alternator tested. It will probably need replacing. If you bring it into a parts store, they will test it for free.

Battery light flashing

The battery light on, is an indication of alternator failure. If your battery is more than 3 years old it needs replacement . A bad battery can damage a new alternator (full field condition). The age of your truck warrants inspection of the charging system. It requires at Least 20 amps output, from the alternator to run the engine.

Batt went dead /recharged now security light stays on when ing is

You need to reprogram the security system. Hook up a battery charger. Turn the key on, the security light should flash. Leave the key on until the light stops flahing.(11 minutes) Turn the key off for 20 sec. Turn the key on, do the same thing a second time, turn the key off. Turn the key on. Do this a third time. After the third 11 minutes and the light is off, Start the truck.

Odometer flashing fuse

I had this happen to me last night. For some reason, the battery was dead. I hooked up a charger and got it started. The battery light came on and then went away after the car ran for a little while.

In my case, it flashed "fuse" and it was a dead battery.

Anti-theft system seems to have been activated?

Some months ago I began starting the engine of my 2001 Chrysler 300M but turned it of before it really started "was sloppy with the key". The anti-theft system went on for some unknown reason. I disarmed it by disconnecting one of the battery connections under the hood with a wrench. I connected it again, the anti-theft system was off but the battery was dead. Battery was OK after recharging, I have had no trouble since then.
