Try flushing out the heater radiator core.remove the two pipes and put a hose on the conections and keep reverseing flow.dont forget to top up with pure antifreeze,

I have the same problem, except the passenger side is hot, and the driver side is cold. Took it to dealership and the wanted $1,500 to fix it. Said there was a flap inside dash that wasn't working right or something along those lines.
I would love to hear if anyone else has solved this...
