There should be a fuse diagram in ur owners manual.. If not u can go to ur local parts dealer and they should be able to help u out...

The test light you need is the type with only one wire coming out of the handle and a light bulb near the test probe that's long with a sharp point on it and when you have it on the right wire coming out of the plug touch any meatal part under the dash like a meatal bracket and the light should come on if it dosent you have the wrong wire from the plug try ataching it to th e other hanging wire and recheck it , now proceed to the fuse box to find the fuse that goes to the cigarette lighter

You need a dc current test light to see if it is getting current, or plug in a cell phone charger to see if you are getting current. Our it could be the the lighter insert, a burnt out element and not the socket.
