I suggest you get one of those manuals people get nowadays to do it yourself.. My nephew use it to repair
my car and it's totally repaired now. Here's the website he got it from. www.reliable-store.com

SOURCE: Coolant Problems

Hi there. It sounds like you have done the most obvious checks and I can assure you by-passing the heater core will have no effect. There are three possible causes that you need to investigate further and you will need specialist equipment for it - you either have a hair-line crack in the head or cylinder wall or it might be that the head bolts are stretched and therefore weakened and so need replacement. To help you identify these aforementioned possible problems, you might need a specialist fluid that you put into the cooling system which changes colour when combustion chamber pressure enters the cooling system, you need to contact your local Ford Dealer for this - but then you still have the three possible problems to deal with - cracked cylinder wall/s, cracked head or stretched head bolts. Hope this helps, Scottech.

SOURCE: 1999 ford taurus no heat

Is the blower motor working? If not that is what it is. If it is working then check heater coil out, Could be bad heater coil.

SOURCE: 1999 Ford Taurus, no heat.

Try checking the two pipes that go into and come out of the heater matrix, is one of them hot? if it is there is an air lock within the matrix, Also is the thermostat opening fully? Sorry i know you said you have changed it twice already but take it out check settings when it should open and close, then boil some water and test the thermostat

I have a 1996 crown vic i need to know these trouble codes po301 po304

PO300 Codes-- are cylinder misfires

PO301 thru PO308

Last # is the cylinder

Could be bad ignition coil for a cylinder
or a coil pack for that side, depending what
engine you have

#1 &#4 are at the front & back of the passenger
side of your motor or firewall side if transverse

You will need to provide details of who worked on it
& exactly what was done besides replace a coil based
on a code

Codes aren't very good with COP Ignition but a complete
coil pack on one side should take care of some issue

Vacuum Leaks & other items can cause misfires & the codes
don't tell you to replace ignition parts as you may have

2002 Taurus will not start until pressure is applied to the coil wires

Corroded terminals on the coil pack or coil pack connector would be the easiest thing check. If the wiring and terminals look good, then I would replace the coil pack.

Ford Taurus runs great till it warms up then shuts off and won't restart this is a 1995 taurus

A mechanic would check for voltage at the coil and the ignition module next.
Any trouble codes stored in the ECM ?

Steering knuckle will not go back into control arm need help 2002 ford taurus

Ford engineers should be shot for this. You can buy the special tool shown below. Use it to lift the strut and knuckle up enough to get the ball joint on. Or, loosen the engine cradle bolts on that side and drop the cradle down enough to bet the ball joint stud into the control arm. Ford engineers should be shot for this bad design.

I have a 2002 ford taurus SE, coil pack has been replaced because Advanced Auto ran a diagnostic and said my coil pack was bad. Well its not and im still not getting fire on #3 and #4 spark plugs. changed...

You visually checked for spark and there was none? #3 and #4 show to be on same coil, each coil fires two plugs. Battery has a full charge? The red wire at coil pack is voltage, it has good voltage? Any applicable trouble codes?
The yellow wires with different tracer colors are grounds controlled by the pcm, one ground for each coil. Did you check voltage on ground wire engine cranking? I can't rule out a faulty coil driver in pcm. It's possible your old coil pack damaged the coil driver in pcm? If that is the problem, hope it didn't hurt the new coil pack.

I have 2004 Ford Taurus with 155000 miles and it started to jolt at times when I turned left (like the brakes where being applied). I've had the alternator replaced, the fuel system replaced and spark...

You are going to think I'm nuts but, it's probably the power steering pump or, and most likely the rack & pinion. Your own description of the symptoms are common indicators of a bad rack & pinion. The turning left thing is also a classic sign.

It will only get worse and, could jam on you while driving. You dont want that!!!
Have it checked soon.

I need to know which fuse for a 2002 ford tauras for the heater or blower

There are 2 places that you can look at. In the fuse panel located inside the vehicle in the number 3 position (see picture below) is the fuse for the blower motor relay coil & in the number 3 position is the blower motor relay itself. This should be in your owners manual if you have one. If you don't have one and need a copy, you can email me at [email protected] with your make, model, year and what you need and I will be happy to email you a copy. don't worry no cost to you. Anyway, I hope this helps and good luck.
