My 2002 Escalade EXT when the rear end drops or hits a bump or today I could push the gas and then hit the brake and it would make a loud da-u-nt sound like when the truck is rocking I think it was coming from the back passenger side......also when the truck sits all night I can get under it and push up on it and it makes a loud like metal popping sound but then stops because I can't get truck rocking from under it and i have put new shocks and stabilizer links on .......would really like some help on this

A suspension specialist will easily pin point the issue. It is something like bushes worn out in control arms.

SOURCE: engine light came on then security light also

Recommend to have codes pulled via scan tool. Lights can come on for many different things. Possible bad ignition switch assembly can cause both check engine light and security light to come on.

SOURCE: service stability system light wont go off n 2002 escalade

Hi. this is a very important alert. the stability system on this suv is very sophisticated. there are many sensors that work together with other modules and control units to keep this SUV from rolling over during an abrupt action, due to an extreme situation. This light is warning you of a appending fault that is occurring in one or more of the sensors on board. the best solution is to take your suv to the dealership for a brisk cpu scan. This way, you can find put which sensor it is that is malfunctioning and fix it.

Please rate and god bless:)

SOURCE: Air Compressor Motor Going Off?

What is probably going on is the air suspension has a leak so the compressor is breaking down. So it will run at odd times trying to make up for the times it can not run. What you need to do is look for a conversion kit. The conversion will stop all problems that you are having now and you will never have to worry about it again. I would recommend strutmasters.com. They have great prices and there kits are guaranteed to last the life of the car.

Cluckin in front end

The noise from the front end is probably a bad ball joint. It is possible that it is a tie rod end also.

If the car is supported on jack stands, you should be able to move the wheel around and see where the problem is.

The brake light could be that you are low on brake fluid or there is a problem with your front or rear brakes.

You should have this looked at right away. It is possible that you only have front or rear brakes working at this time and if the other fails, your vehicle will not stop.

If you need more help, post a comment and I will get back to you.

Thanks,

Tim
