Blower motor wire harness

Could you please tell me how to replace the heater motor, and the wireharness. I have done the resistpr, it only lasted a month, then the wires that connected to the socket were fried and I had to buy another one again. Any pictures or places to view then would be helpful.
Thanks
Tina

Links show replacement of the resistor and wiring harness. Second link is to RockAuto where you can buy the resistor with a harness. Apparently (from the first link), Amazon also has the resistor available with the harness. SOURCE: Blower motor wire harness

Unless you live in the desert, crimp connectors should NEVER BE USED, except for emergency temporary repair aid. Use either repair harness end or get a harness section from a junkyard. make sure you connect wires properly and use proper sized heat shrink tubing to cover soldered joints.. To replace blower motor, locate it and remove it. If complicated by location, spring for $20. and get a manual (which will help you many more times with other stuff as well!!!)

Hello I have a 2005 G6. My heat doesn't work and had many parts replaced. Resistor wire harness and panel switch. Still nothing? Blower motor still works. It's not the relay Any ideas? Please! TyTeresa

It may either be a broken blend door (can cost you around $400 to fix)
Or it needs a reverse flush done on the heater core, If your passenger side floor is wet or has water stains then the heater core needs to be replaced (maybe $600)

My heat has stop blowing. replaced blower, and heater on off switch. what else could it be?

LX? DX? EX? Hatchback? sedan? wagon?coupe? engine size? did you check the fuse? Fuse #19, 30 amps in the auxilary fuse box (your owners manual may show the location ,it may be near the blower ?). The Blue/White wire at the heater blower motor should be HOT (12v) with key on. If you ground the Blue/Black wire the motor should run full speed.

I have a 1999 jeep cherokee 4.0 when you turn the blower motor on it shuts down the radio, tach, speedometer why.

Although vehicle electronics is not my strongest suit, I will tell you about the problems this year has had with HVAC components: The resister is a known problem which can heat up and melt wires and cause problems and "back feed" current into joining harnesses and melt and fuse them together causing you your grief. It should in all honesty, blow fuses when it does this but I did not encounter this when my hvac system was bad. Sometimes, the heater blower motor gets old and draws too much current as well and allows current to back feed into joined harnesses as well. Replace the black relay on the passenger side under the glove box with a high quality one. Check your resister, and blower fan for appropriate current and grounding. If you are having other related issues with your heater blower speed your selector switch may be bad too. Remove the cowling panel and pull the hvac module out of the dash (like a stereo) check for melted wires, plugs and harnesses. Run your fingers along the wiring and check for melted fused spots. Are you blowing fuses? This is your starting point. Let me know once you get this done and tell me what you have found. Take care and let me know how it goes.

2004 Chevrolet Silverado Heater/AC Blower on without Ignition ON

there is no relay for the heater fan it's a 15 amp fuse and is on the accessories circuit. the reostat is responsible for all 3 speeds .with the key off there should be no voltage to the blower motor whether the fans speed fan switch is on or off. the fuse will be located in the fuse paneleither on the drivers left side in the dash or underneath the dash in the fuse block. you have a short in the harness that is under the dash and most likely it's a bad plug on the harness. your going to have to do some searching but that's where the problem short is... please rate
