Where is the headlight relay located on an 01 mustang gt? are there any in- line fuses?

I put a set of projector headlights in my mustang and the left plug on the wiring harness was broke so I wired it direct. I now have no left headlight or brights, the blue indicator on the dash doesn't even come on so I have to assume that I tagged a wire at some point and took out a relay. I checked all the fuses that I know of and they are good. any ideas?

SOURCE: I need the wiring diagram

This is the diagram for the fog lamps ( headlamp is a different cell ).
If you are trying to add them to the existing wiring, do not expect the headlamp switch to cab fuse panel wiring to be there ( that is usually what is missing when you can find the fog lamp connectors under the front of the truck ).

File Save as so you can magnify it with the JPEG viewer you use.

SOURCE: 2005 Ford Focus ZX3 SES, the blue high beam

It sounds like you are confused about how your headlamp system is supposed to work. The DRL does not run on the High beam circuit, it runs on the low beam circuit. The fog lamps are supposed operate with the park lamps and also with the low beams, not the high beams. From your description, I would say that your system is operating as designed and you are having trouble telling High from Low. (Don't feel bad, that is why high beam indicators were invented in the first place.)

2005 Mustang GT high beams cause headlights to go completely off

The most likely cause would be the relay. An auto electrician with a pro grade scan tool computer can instruct the relay to switch on and off to test them. It could be the switch, but test before replacing. The AE tech can do that too as he has access to the wiring colours.

1995 Ford Mustang GT V8. Why do my dim headlights not work?

" dim headlights "? None of your lights should be 'dim'. You have 4 lights.

Side Lights.
Daytime Running Lights (DRL)
Low Beam Headlights.
High Beam Headlights.

Here are the fuses, check fuse 5 and D although they covers more items than lights. Your best bet is to find a good local auto-electrician.

Hi, fuse 10 in the car runs the left bulb. If the fuse it good, it must be the wire or ground connection. There is no relay in the circuit.

I have no headlights on 1988 mustang gt turn signals brake lights and parking lights and dash lights all work but the head lights wont come on checked all fuses and relays there all good thanks

Check headlight lamps... then follow the wiring from the bulb connections back and make sure you're getting a good solid ground connection. It may have a loose, broken, severed grounding wire.. it's usually attached to the car body at some location not far from the headlights.

Adjusting the headlight beams on a 96 mustang gt PROJECTOR HEADLIGHTS BK HALO lights? The lights are installed and look great but they are beaming down in the front of the car. How do I adjust them?

there should be an adjuster ring attached to the headlight housing. It will likely be a hex bolt or a allen key to adjust it. There should be one for vertical tilt and one for horizontal angle. They will generally be located right by the bulb housing (where you insert the bulb into the headlight.
