I have a Buick Regal 2001, the switch that controls the fan for the heat, etc... has slowly stopped working. I used to be able to jiggle it or turn it partly to get the fan to come on, but that has stopped. I know the panel works because all other lights on heater/ac assembly work, how can I change this switch?

temperature switch bad goto dealer parts get diagram(they give free)find switch remove plug to switch (turn ignition key to on position)take short piece of wire jump plug wires see if fan starts if not check fan motors for operation if they do switch bad replace you can get better deal at local parts house than dealer on switch try that see if thats whats doing it!!!!Best Of Luck toYou!!!!

several things to check out:
get it started and go have the battery, alternator, and voltage regulator tested. No charge at most parts stores.
IF they all test ok then you will need to remove the starter and have it tested. The solenoid could be bad. Was it wet outside the day it wouldnt start? if so then oisture is probably getting into the solenoid.

I dont have a diagram but the brake light switch has to feed the turn signal switch, Either that wire has a bad connection, or the turn signal switch is bad. Jiggle the turn signal lever and see if the brake lights try to work.

if you check in your handbook for the car under relays and fuses check both fuses or relay for burn marks you could have a problem with the fuse board
