Hi i have just finished re-installing the motor in my 93 GT turbo legacy (single turbo) It wont start due to only reciving two spark pulses to the ignitor. Wiring diagrams ive got show there should be four? I am a electrican and ive traced back to the ecu and they are not coming out from there. I just had the drivers in the ecu tested at the local auto shop and they said they were all working. If the crank and/or cam sensors are working why would i have two spark pulses?? Your help is most welcome.

try you map sensor or your throtle pos sens. your fuel pump is designed to run all the time. it is suppose to run through the fuel rail and back to the tank in a constant cycle.

Only clutch adjustment is at the pedal as they are hydraulic. Clutch may be worn, cheers

Check The Vehicle Speed Sensors.
The Legacy has 2 Vehicle Speed Sensors (VSS): VSS1 is located inside of
the transaxle; VSS2 is located in the combination meter assembly.
VSS1
VSS2

Water introduced through the fuel system. Drain tank and lines, refill, and add HEET.

Have you checked the ignition fuses, or checked for power to your ignition module? You have everything else covered! I hope these ideas will get you running. Best wishes.
