If the engine temp seems normal on the dash gauge then it may be a clogged heater core.have the sysyem flushed-it worked for me recentlythe other options may be a heater door not closing..some are vacuum activated a flush is a good place to start..good luck

most fans in vehicles have phospher bronze bushes as bearings for the motor. These become dry and make a noise as described with thr motor eventually stopping. removal of the unit to replace or lubricate the bushes are the only answers. when you have done this check the fuse as it will probably have blown to protect the fan motor
Those 2 problems are certainly not related to each other. The only common thing is that both problems require proffesional to solve. Most probably the AC needs a freon refill.
This sounds more like an electical problem in the fuel delivery system. Check all the connectors on the fuel pump, fuel pump relay plus generally have a good feel and shake of all connectors. A determined effort will find the problem connector is there is one.
turn off the heater tap under the bonnet by disconnecting the cable and sliding the lever ouve,if its stuck take off heater inlet and outlet water hoses and connect them,youve then bypassed your heater that will fix it
