SOURCE: gas tank

I would suggest making sure you have a vented gas cap.

SOURCE: gas tank making loud whinning noise when i take

assuming from the noise i am assuming your opening the gas cap while the engine is running. that noise your are hearing is prob the fuel pump. your really not supposed to open the gas cap while the engine is running. pressure is needed inside the gas tank for everything to work properly. after a while of doing so you may get a emissions code for either a small or a large leak. i recommend when pumping gas to shut the engine off to eliminate any future problems that could happen.

SOURCE: pressure release from gas tank when removing cap

You have a check light on & pressure when you
remove the gas cap,so the question to you is,
why are you not getting the codes & repairing the
Evap System

Pretty simple I would say !!

Car periodically dies and there is a gurgling sound when take gas cap off. Then either immediately or soon after the car starts. Put new fuel pump, gas cap and relay switch.

Maybe taking the gas cap off releases pressure on vacuum in the gas tank. I'd have to check your evap system. I'm just thinking out loud. Might be other issues?

2015 Nissan Pickup Truck, why dose the gas tank gurgle when gas is below half a tank? Done it before, but I don't remember how much gas was in the tank.

These newer cars all run fuel pressure systems that have a return line from the pressure regulator to the tank. Many models run this line to the bottom of the tank to prevent this noise. Also possible you have a bad gas cap or cap seal.

Why does my montero cooing system makes gurgling noise

In many cases of gurgling cooling system, you have a possible head gasket problem starting and the combustion from the engine is pressurizing the cooling system. Check your cooling system thoroughly for evidence of a possible blown head gasket.
Are you loosing cooling system water?
Is your radiator overflow tank being pressurized excessively by the engine. Headgasket problems can sometimes put some much pressure in that overflow tank that it begins to bulge outward.
Check the oil and look for any white/greyish milk shake consistency fluid on the oil fill cap or on the radiator cap. Keep a close eye on your oil and water levels if your gurgling sound continues. This is not normal and again, usually is a sign that there is a possible leak between the headgasket and a water jacket on the head.
Did you overheat the vehicle anytime soon? This will many times breech a head gasket between water jackets and begin spraying water in small amounts right into the engine cylinders, while it pressurizes the cooling system and makes gurgling noises.

Truck wont start...remove gas cap and it starts...why?

Does it make a whooshing noise when it is being removed? The only thing that springs to mind is that your gas tank is plugged creating a vacuum in the tank starving the vehicle of fuel. Does the car stall when the cap is replaced?

What's causing the P0456 code?

  • A small leak in any of the EVAP hoses or fuel tank hoses
  • A small leak in the purge valve or vent valve
  • The EVAP Canister may be leaking- be sure fuel cap is sealing good, if in doubt replace fuel cap.
