The heater starts blowing warm air and so does the defroster. There is nothing coming from the floor heater Then the air temp changes from warm to cool no matter what the temperature setting on the climate control. Rear heat stays on the warm side but the truck doeasn't get hot at all and the temp has only dropped to about 29 degrees in these parts.
Could be an air lock in the heater rad, back flush with a hose to clear.

The door in the heater box is most likely stuck. It is located under the dash on the passenger side

common problem, check under dash by the gas pedal if control arms are muving went selecting from ac to heat cuz this it is the control for the vents to go from ac to heat and to defrost.

did you cheked if there is enough refrigrant ( freon ) in your tubes by measuring the pressure . if there is you may need to check your condensor its may be clogged and not letting enough air comes through to cool the refrigran

You have dual zones that are controlled by temperature actuators the passenger side has lost its memory or has gone bad you can put it in self programming by disconnecting the battery for ten minutes then hook it back up start the truck turn the temperature control on but do not touch any other controls let it go thru the self programming for about 6 to 7 minutes then select your temperature you want if it still does not work properly you may have a bad actuator or a bad connection at the actuator

Its more then likely the temp door broken or temp door motor broken/stuck. There is 2-3 of these motors under the dash on the side of the evap/heater core box. Some require extensive labor to replace, good luck
