My 1989 Chevey Celebrity started shaking the other day the front part of the car, not like the front end is messed up but it shakes.

When I begin driving and start getting to speed of 40 mph the vibration starts, then by the time I get to 50 mph the shaking is severe but once I excelerate to the speed of 60 mph the shaking and vibration stops. But if I have to stop or slow down for traffic for instance the whole process starts again.

Could be a wheel, tire, or axle shaft.
You could rotate the tires front to back and see if the vibration moves.
If it does the problem is one of the tires or wheels.
If it stays in the front, its probably one of the axle shafts. It could also be a hub bearing or something loose in the suspension. But a loose suspension part would normally show up when you hit a bump rather than on a smooth road.

Maybe check for loose u-joints, transmission mount, or carrier bearing if you have a two piece driveshaft.

SOURCE: Engine shakes and can not accelerate as quick when starts

If the engine light is on, a code scanner needs to be connected to it to find out why the light is on. It could be one of the sensors causing it. Take to autozone or advanced auto if there is one near you, if not call a repair shop that can do it. Autozone and advanced don't charge. Takes about 30 seconds.

SOURCE: HHR 2006. Front end

Front end problem shaking for struts and shock there job is to absorb road shock, not make the truck shake, and to be told its made poorly thats a laugh.and he is a mechanic? problalby a service writer who wants to sell you something? The wheel bearings are a hub assembly so when it fails there is a noise, and yes I have seen the hub fail to the poit that the tire wants to come off.did he say the struts are leaking if he did then youll need it to be replaced.springs doesnt get replaced the only thing that gets replaced are the shocks as they reuse the spring. if the struts are bad go ahead and drive it. for a month if you want.but to have the front end shake.hows the tires on the front? are the thread all the same across?are the inside worn, then youll need tires.are the outside worn? then you need the suspension look at for broken bushing.I am thinking tire worn to cause shaking and gotten worn from alignment issue. Now for the rough idle, what type of oil are you using? is it the proper weight? Is it a low end brand, for this year and for the diesel sound the cam actuator got stuck open. The cam actuator is a EGR on your car,It plugs and when it does rough idle occurs, two ways to clean it ,replace if the ports are plugged, or a oil flush with the appriopiate cleaner the real oil flush kit that say run ten minutes at idle.then change oil. now here it is, can you use it seven more days with the actuator stuck in advance (which always happen and there is no CK ENG LT) go ahead for the suspension that depends on the tire.

On a 1989 toyota pickup truck sr22re 4 cyclender 2wheel drive automatic how do you do a front end alignment to stop the truck from shakeing at 65 mph.

Shaking is caused by one or a combination of the following things.
Cord separation in one or more of the tires, worn front end parts causing excessive play, check ball joint and all components. And last check for a bent wheel or hub face that the wheel bolts to. There are some other reasons but these are the most common.

When breaking, my break pedal begins to pulsate when stopping. Also, the steering wheel begins to shake when breaking.

Usually a sign one of the front brake rotors is out of round. It could also be something wrong with the abs but I doubt it.

Front end shakes

Hi Steve, It would help to know if the shaking begins at a certain speed or is it there all the time? If the shaking is transmitted via the steering and comes at a particular speed and disappears once that speed has been passed the problem is most likely with the wheels being out of balance, or you have a buckled rim. If the problem is at all speeds, have the front end checked, meaning rack ends, tie rod ends, ball joints, suspension bushes and anti roll bar bushings. Also check for damage on the sub frame and engine mountings. Regards John

Front end shakes so much it looks like the wheels are falling off

What you have is called death wobble. Generally it is caused by one or several loose components in the steering. You need to have all mounts including where steering box is attached to the chassis checked. Often the problem is caused by either bad ball joints or track bar ends or mounts. Wheel stud torque is also important. if any brake, tire, or other front end work has recently been done, this may be the cause. One item often suggested by shops is the steering stabilizer. It is often damaged by the shaking but if replaced will not cure the problem and will be damaged again.
If everything in the front end is carefully checked and verified as good, then as a last resort, have some additional positive caster added to the front end alignment. That often helps.

My 2003 ford tauras shakes so bad on highway

I would have that front end checked as soon as possible. It could be anything, ball joints, tie rod ends, cv joints, could be the rack and pinion steering. If any one of these things break, you will loose your steering.
