you have to open the boot and go in through that way. you know where the lights are? lift the carpet bit back and you should be able to do it that way. havent tried it myself but going to try and change mine tonite

Open the rear tailgate There are 2 screws that hold light housing in place.. Remove the screws then pull the housing outwards till the clip behind it springs. You then need to knock the housing sideways (outwards) to free the 2 prongs that attach housing to the car body.
Unclip the rear housing from the back of the light unit & change the bulb.

Probably sorted by now but in case anyone gets the same problem. Check all the red fuses in the main fuse box, not just the one the handbook says it should be. The main fuse box is behind the glove box...push in the sides and the gb will drop down....the fuse box is facing you.

You will need to look in trunk and pull back the covering over the light area on the side you need to replace. Once exposed, look for the wires going into the light housing and twist the plug to unlock it and remove the bulb. Twist and remove the old bulb or Pull the bulb out of the socket. Reverse the process to install the new bulb and replace the socket.
