I have a 1999 Ford Exploere Limited, Lost the only key I had for it, every way I have heard to fix this sounds expensive. I saw that I can buy a new transponder key ignition kit that will fit to my vehicle, but I don't know how I would program it to my vehicle, how can I do this?

SOURCE: 2001 Ford Expedition: inexpensive new ignition (transponder) key?

the old keys or another expedition key can be reprogrammed to your vehicle, the only thing is you would have to change the lock cylinder to match the key or swap the ignition from another expedition with that has the key

I am looking at buying a 1999 Ford contour. To

it sounds like the first gear is shot. starting of in drive two skipps first. this is for when stuck in mud or snow by starting in higher gear it gives less torque so the wheel won't slip as much. So yes it is expensive because the tansmission needs rebuilt continueing to start off in second will burn it out as well

Horn wont stop

sounds like the horn contact terminal inside the steering wheel got disconnected and is hitting a metal part of the steering column which triggers the horn. the terminal that got disconnected is probably has positive polarity and the metal part of the steering column has negative polarity. If they come in contact with each other... *honk* *honk*

I pushed on the brakes and lost all pressure on the pedal. I pulled over and saw fluid leaking from the line on the driver side rear in front of the tire.Is this an expensive fix? Could I do it myself?

Sounds like the flex line needs replacement, replace the hose, top up the master cylinder with proper brake fluid and bleed the system of air (by the press and hold method)
