SOURCE: My 1994 Nissan pickup brakes shudder at low speed

Inspect the brake rotors for grooving and score marks and also look to see if there are any heat cracks, if there is grooving or very little brake pad material remaining replace the brake pads and also two new rotors, it is also possible that it is just a frozen or stuck brake caliper, this would be indicated by an uneven rotor one that has more metal or meat on one side that the other also uneven brake pads indicates an uneven brake caliper application

SOURCE: 1995 nissan pickup new alternator and battery

Check the battery, make sure it's full,(if it's not sealed) then check the batt. for 1 or more dead cells.
The test is done with a hydrometer, to test specific gravity. If you don't have one they are fairly cheap at
any parts store, but if your going to the parts store
anyway, they will do this test and a load test for free.
If the battery checks out ok, check the connections
at the alternator if they look good, you may have a
defective alternator. I forgot to mention, that if you
have to add water to the battery for the specific gravity test, you will have to wait 24 hours for an
accurate result. Hope this helps. Good luck.

SOURCE: How do I replace an alternator/fan belt on a 1984

#1 loosen the Alternator drive Belt adjusting bolt, and remove the belt. Install new belt, tighten the adjusting bolt to give you the propper belt tention. At the longest span between two polleys at the midway point press down with your thumb and you should not be able to move the belt more than 1/4 of an inch. Good Luck and have a good XMASS.

SOURCE: I'm looking to buy a 1994 Nissan pickup but it's

I had the same problem on my 1997 Nissan Pickup XE. I got my mechanic to adjust the idle speed. It's a pretty simple and easy thing to do if you know what you are doing.

How to test ignition switch 1994 nissan

Check the harness for any missing wires, its the main bundle of wires under the dash. If all is in place then check the fuses to see if any needs to be replaced. If all are tested and working, check the relays located in the main engine compartment. If all are intact and working, check the ground wires that connect to the frame of the engine and body or directly to the negative of the battery. The main wires you need to see that are connected is on the alternator, starter, and battery.

Hope this hepls

1994 nissan truck. Suddenly headlights, although burning, seem quite\r\ndim while driving at night in addition to dash lights being dim. Is that some kind of ground problem?

probably you dont have enough power generating from your alternator which charging up the battery. or maybe if your Alternator is good but your battery is dead slightly. but batteries dont die easily coz some cells still working but very poor to produce enough voltage and current.

I've found the bolt that the alternator pivots on to be not much fun. A small palm type ratchet has been helpful. Here's an online manual's alternator section: http://myweb.dal.ca/is353832/93fsm/charging/3generato.pdf

My 1994 Nissan Pickup was showing the battery light on and then I was drivving to work with the lights on and it started chugging and then died and would not start. Battery dead

The alternator is not charging, need to replace it,and charge the battery up with a slow charge,,,2 amp, over night a then some, slow charging gets the charge all the way up,and creates a deep charge that will stay, and prolong the battery life.
