My bravada is stuck in reverse and it says its in park and wont start

Hi Vincent, I think I would check the inhibitor assembly which is mounted onto the side of the gearbox before having the box rebuilt. (although this may still be required) The fault you report is often related to the selector switching unit becoming slightly loose and losing synchronization. If you can get out and under, inspect the switch in situ and look for a slot or alignment holes into which a correct sized screw driver can be inserted and once the lock device is loosened, realignment can be carried out. Don't forget to tighten the bolt afterwards. Regards John

can be issue with gears or problem with transmission and needs to be rebuilt.
Also get the tranny fluid checked. If it\'s low, then such problems
occurs.
