Possible spilt oil on exhaust manifold. Open hood, check oil level , make sure its full and take vehicle back to where you had the oil change done and have them recheck everything to make sure all is tight . And ask them to please clean any mess or spill they may have caused.
A whine from under the hood could possibly be a power steering pump. It can whine even when it's full of fluid if the pump is bad. If you're car is a 2010, won't it be covered under the warranty?
Easy fix. find where each end of the blown hose is attached and remove the hose. Go to the auto parts store with the old hose and they will give you a new one the same length and also two new clamps. ( I would actually replace both heater hose at the same time because the other one has the potential of doing the same thing). Replace the new hose in the reverse process you took the old one off. Make sure the clamps are tight. Open the radiator and fill radiator with water/coolant to the top. Should be good to go.
your problem is the mass air flow sensor tha is connected to the airbox, it is the part that is plug in just before where the air filter goes. this part is about 80.00 and u have to remove the airbox three screws. very simple.
have someone push the washer button while someone else goes back to the rear and listens for a humming noise. if there is no noise then the little pump that shoots the fluid out is not working.
If there is a humming noise then the line is clogged.
hope this helps
Well, not sure if the temps have a direct cause for your problem, but you may want to check the CV joints on your axles. If you have ripped a boot, and lost the grease, that could cause a whinning. There are also a few other things it could be as well............any more info?
