SOURCE: Where is the coolant bleed screw in the 05 Chevy
the 05 uses the red coolant dexcool which is not compatible with green [antifreeze]if u topped off the nox with green the mixture jells causing all sorts of cooling problems need to flush out system as to bleed screw their isnt one
SOURCE: coolant change (do it myself)
Before you bleed the system check to see if your heater throws heat if it does you dont need to bleed anything. If you dont have heat continue to run the engine until the radiator is warm shut the engine off than release the pressure from the radiator by loosening the cap once the pressure is off take the cap off and check the fluid level if the level is below the core fill with fluid replace cap and start engine again and check for heat, if no heat than locate the heater hose under the hood loosen the clamp on that hose (remember the fluid my be to hot to touch be careful) pull the hose free from the fitting this is called bleeding or burping if there is air in the system you will see air coming out around the fitting and the hose let the fluid continue seep out until no air comes. Replace hose tighten clamp check fluid level and check heater again.

Should be a bleeder on the slave cylinder. remove the cover on the master and open the slave and let drip until fluid drops sdteady and no sign of air. Close slave and close master after replenishing the fluid. The first time you press on the pedal go slow and release real slow. Then you are off and clutching. Good Luck
The generic method of bleeding air from the cooling system of any car or truck is to use a floor jack and raise the front of the car as high as poss, then fill the coolant recovery tank full and run the engine until it just starts to overheat, high end of normal zone on gauge, then shut the engine down and run cold water over the radiator core, this will self bleed the system and the coolant will be pulled from the recovery tank, repeat as necessary, never let the recovery tank run dry or more air will be pulled into the cooling systeml , if it still overheats then you need to have the head gaskets checked with a gas analyzer for hydrocarbons present in the radiator or recovery tank
