Heater turned on. Why is there no heat?

Check the heater tap turns on and there is good water flow through the hoses and heater core ,check that the water temp is at least 85 deg.cel.. could also be the baffle in the heater core broken off.

did you check the fuses ? relays? does it blow any air at all? could be blower went bad and blew fuse, or a relay failed, check fuses first.

My 1999 ford taurus heater doesnt work. We recently had a problem with the reservoir boiling over and brown coolant. Had the thermostat replaced and replaced the radiator cap. Also flushed the radiator....

Sounds like the heater core may be blocked..First check the level make sure its full..Then let the vehicle get up to operating temperature..Feel the heater hoses going into the firewall..Both should be hot to touch..If one is hot and the other one is warm or not warm ,,then you have a blockage in the heater core..If its block ,,then i have cleaned them out by taking the heater hoses off,,and running a garden hose through the heater core..If that doesnt work then you have to remove the dash,,and replace the heater core..

your blend door is not working properly. you might have missed a wire or a linkage when you install the heater core.
