Looking for the ttva transmission throttle valve position sensor on the transmission. I have 2nd gear and park and reverse. Sometimes it will try too kick into gear and then goes back too default- aka- 2nd. did a readout and it gave me the code P1750 or P1755, it says their is either a faulty ttva position sensor, or transmission throttle valve actuator is faulty. Please help this is driving me crazy. thanks

you say the fluid looks good... that's great.
now next time your out drive for about ten good minuetes long enough for the transmission to get nice and warm and then pull over to nice level ground and with the vehicle in park check the fluid again. it's kind of hard to read because it always has a lot of bubbles on it and stuff. but it may be low on fluid.. good-luck ray

It's in limp home mode. You'll have to check wire connections and electronic controls. If it has a vacuum modulator you can remove it and look for trans fluid on the vacuum hose side (meaning ruptured diaphram). Double check the parts you replaced as well, especially if they were used parts. My dad went through three speed sensors in one year on his Caravan. You should drop the pan after checking other components. It could be a bad relay, shorted module or wire. The three speed transmissions are much more reliable than the four speed overdrive transmissions but with age and miles things can go wrong and parts will wear out.

I had the same problem in my 1999 plymouth voyager. Changed both speed sensors it started shifting perfectly.. Now i get a little thump when downshifting from 2nd to first when stoping change the sensors there only about 20 dollars each its 2 of them on the front of transmission..

Sounds like you need a solenoid pack to start, and possibly a service. If the tranny is not slipping, the solenoid pack is stuck and not tell it to shift up. Could possibly be a TCM, but not as likely.

To make a long story short, your transmission is done. Sorry. I just went through this with my Voyeger.
