Low oil pressure light keeps coming on

Low oil pressure light has been coming on repeatedly. The oil has just been changed. Also checked for a low level and nothing seems wrong.

Check if there is too much oil. over filling the engine with oil causes the oil to foam which leads to loss of oil pressure. it could also be the oil pressure sensor

I have a 97 supercharged the oil light keep comin stay on while Im driven the oil is full

The oil light is for low oil pressure, not low oil.
You need to have someone check the actual oil pressure with a mechanical gauge or change the oil pressure switch and see it the light still comes on.

I HAVE A LIGHT ON MY DASH ITS A ORANGE OIL CAN

Check the fluid level and change the oil if you've used the car 3,000 mi. or more.

Usually low oil pressure lights are red and are more serious than the amber lights.

My low pressure oil light keeps coming on when i stop and i just got my oil changed. The oil is not low. What could be the problem?

Hi,
That means LOW PRESSURE , not low in volume. Pressure is measured in PSI. The reason that your light comes on when you are at a stop is because your engine goes to idle at a stop and would normally have lower pressure. That doesn't mean you should get a low pressure light though.. I would have it checked by a pro right away as this could be your first warning before a serious problem.

Hopes this Helps,

Oil pressure light keeps coming on

Check the oil level is not low, and the oil in use is of suitable grade & quality.
If it only comes on at idle, you may have a faulty oil pressure alarm sensor switch.
Either replace it, or preferably, get the engine oil pressure tested using an independant oil pressure gauge.
If it is verified that the oil pressure is indeed low, you may have to look further for other engine problems, such as worn camshaft/crankshaft bearings.

Oil light keeps coming on and beeps

This is the pressure light, nothing to do with the oil needing to be being changed, you have low oil pressure being indicated, this will destroy the engine if the light is really indicating low oil pressure, have the oil pressure tested with a mechanical test guage at a shop, if the oil pressure is ok then replace the oil pressure light sending unit.
